Hasthag Spam? #fail #twitter

I have been watching two great hashtag streams tonight #unlikelysequels and #crappubnames but was dissapointed to find spam littering both streams.

It is a shame that spam has to creep into every channel. In cases like this, the users don’t have any ability to curb the spammers so it continues unchecked. Can ‘the management’ do anything about this?
