Sesame Street was once the most translated TV programme in the world. I think it was overtaken by Baywatch. Twenty odd years later it is still great to see Sesame Street maintain a relevance for parents and children. If you love Mad Men, you’ll love this. Props to @banannie for sharing it.

I am delighted to be taking part in this year’s Blog Action Day. If you haven’t seen it before, Blog Action Day asks bloggers around the world to talk about climate change. Here are their aims:

First and last, the purpose of Blog Action Day is to create a discussion. We ask bloggers to take a single day out of their schedule and focus it on an important issue.

By doing so on the same day, the blogging community effectively changes the conversation on the web and focuses audiences around the globe on that issue.

Every year a topic is picked, last year I recall it was Hunger. It is open to any blogger to write on the day but you are asked to sign up here so they can keep tabs on what is happening. I feel this is a great opportunity for bloggers big and small to join together to push the conversation about climate change.
