By strict definition it is not autumn but it feels like it. The summer seems to have passed in a blur with good things happening. A holiday in the USA was a great start in July with some wonderful memories like watching live music at the Surf Club in Montauk.
As you read on you can see there are horrible black borders around the images. This seems to be a but with the template, even with HTML over-ride. Sorry it looks naff.
Consultancy
Coming back to earth I have been busy growing my new consultancy Digital Tomorrow Today which has met with a lot of interest both for consultancy and for the Labs reviews on the site.
We have just launched a newsletter signup which is part of a larger project I am working on through September.
Writing
I continue my writing with new articles for DMi Magazine and Chinwag with writing for Revolution/Wall from September.
Steering and Speaking
The National Media Museum in Bradford is working to develop an Internet Gallery charting the history of the Internet, I have been a member of the steering group for some time and I am looking for the latest updates in Bradford in a few weeks.
I will also be on a panel for the Affiliates 4 U Expo in London 12th/13th October. The planned title is ‘Marketing 2020′ which should be interesting!
Side Projects
I have also dusted off a few other side projects to get the grey matter challenged. Please Send me a Postcard is a simple concept – send me a postcard with one travel tip and I publish it. So far the site has had postcards from Scotland. France, Malta, Malaysia and one from 1909! The new blog template is perfect and I am working on fixing a few bad links on the older posts. Do check it out and maybe send a postcard yourself?
I also resurrected I don’t do Sudoku which is a blog for music and movie stuff and general trivial nonsense. It is also a useful tool for testing new functions which is why it is sometimes a little distorted.
Gun for Hire
All these projects are keeping me busy but I still have capacity to help others. When we launched Cheeze we took a number of short term projects which were not ‘core business’ but helped bring cash flow into fuel the agency growth. In exactly the same fashion I am available for hire if you need some short term help.
If you haven’t seen it already, you can see my full profile on Linkedin.
Keep in Touch
The communication channels are so broad it is sometimes hard to know how to find me. You can email me, call me on 020 3287 1854, connect with me on Twitter, Linkedin or Facebook.
Twitter is the quickest way to find me. If we aren’t connected on Twitter and you wish to DM me. just prod me to follow you and I will fix it.
You can find out where I will be using Plancast.
Keep Up To Date
I am setting up a monthly newsletter to formalise these updates and keep you abreast of what I am doing and other news I feel may be relevant to you.
At the moment I have this simple form for you to use, in time I will redo the whole site and add a shiny form. Sign up if you would like.
