100 Good Mornings – what was that all about?

Good Morning!

I had an idea at the weekend about getting 100 people to say Good Morning to me on Twitter. In turn, I wished them a good morning.

Why did I do it?

There was no scientific reason nor socialgical research here, I just thought it was a good idea to say good morning. If there was any agenda it was to encourage followers (new and old) to ‘break cover’ and say hello.

The Result?

Between 06:55 and 12:00 I had 104 Good Mornings, One F*** Off and 2 Good Evenings due to the time zone. @mattobrien reckons that is a 1.5% follower to good morning ration which is an interesting stat but wouldn’t stand up to scrutiny.

When I have a second I will make a big list of my morning greeters. Apparently I am not allowed more than 20 lists so I need to do some pruning first.

Thank You Thank You

If you said Good Morning or retweeted my quest, I thank you. Twitter can be a great community!

Suffolk Barter

We have an abundance of crop this year and we are looking to barter some for other stuff. We have already enjoyed Sausages from Adrian’s pigs and would like some more. So, we put together a list of what we have to barter and would love to know if you are interested in sharing?

I would expect to do handovers around Woodbridge to make it convenient, but lets see what we have and what you have. Responses in the comments section, please :-)

Fresh

  • Rhubarb
  • Bramley Apples
  • Victoria Plums
  • Medlars (use for jelly)

  • If the growth stays on track we should have some pumpkins to trade.

If you were looking to gain knowledge on particular subject or discussion but only had three minutes, what would your preferred method of gaining this information?
