100 Good Mornings – what was that all about?

Good Morning!

I had an idea at the weekend about getting 100 people to say Good Morning to me on Twitter. In turn, I wished them a good morning.

Why did I do it?

There was no scientific reason nor socialgical research here, I just thought it was a good idea to say good morning. If there was any agenda it was to encourage followers (new and old) to ‘break cover’ and say hello.

The Result?

Between 06:55 and 12:00 I had 104 Good Mornings, One F*** Off and 2 Good Evenings due to the time zone. @mattobrien reckons that is a 1.5% follower to good morning ration which is an interesting stat but wouldn’t stand up to scrutiny.

When I have a second I will make a big list of my morning greeters. Apparently I am not allowed more than 20 lists so I need to do some pruning first.

Thank You Thank You

If you said Good Morning or retweeted my quest, I thank you. Twitter can be a great community!
