A computer game designer once told me his mantra. “Show not tell” and it is a compelling and persuasive case. The example he used was designing an anti-smoking campaign. Used the orcs from Lord of the Rings as the fat deposits clogging up the arteries. Made a much more dramatic statement than any piece of text ever could.
So its watch for me.

Odd poll. Surely with tech like the red button and on-demand video via news sites / iphone apps we can both read (thus controlling the speed at which we consume) AND watch / listen? I choose D) multi-sensory
I’ll technically listen to the TV report whilst reading the ticker along the bottom or red button news but I’m not watching…
Yes I’m pernickety.
Unless the point of the poll is to make people choose but we don’t have to any more…

Thanks for the comments. Where I am coming from is,
If I am to impart knowledge as part of my business offering what is the best method to do so? Bear in mind I can’t do all three, much as I’d love to! [Well, not yet anyway!]

“Depends on the context – what the information is and where I’m spending the 3 minutes. The second is the most important.”

I went for 2 but actually agree with Richard Gale and Tom.
I’ve found learning via podcasts very useful when travelling, and I do about 3 hours commuting a day, when signal strength is too low for youtube (and you’ll want to use youtube with video I’m guessing).
However, explaining things using graphic visualisation is really powerful, but also takes time and skill.
I’ve been using screencasts recently when blogging just isn’t enough. But I can’t view video on my phone on the train!
