Steve has passed away.

Not since the passing of Freddie Mercury have I genuinely been upset by the passing of someone ‘famous.’ I guess that is because Steve has had a genuine impact on my life. I spend a large proportion of interacting with tech that Steve envisaged and I love it. When I moved to macs 6 years ago I did so because PC’s were work and macs were for home, nicer, cooler and just more fun to use. Now I can’t think of anything else to work on, run a business on, listen to music on.

Steve was the first Tech Rockstar and possibly the greatest there will ever be. Like an artist that dies too young we are left thinking, ‘what else could he have done’?

If Steve was a Rock Star I would be playing his music back to back all day, no doubt on iTunes. Instead I will listen to other music on the iPhone whilst writing on a Macbook.
